Job summary

GXO Logistics, Inc. in Georgia is seeking a Safety Supervisor to oversee the safety team and ensure compliance with safety regulations. You will help achieve company and customer objectives while maintaining high safety standards.

The role requires 2 years of related experience, proficiency with Microsoft Office and scanner equipment, and flexibility for overtime and a varied schedule. A Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field is preferred.

Qualifications

• 2 years of related work experience.
• Experience with Microsoft Office and scanner equipment.
• Availability to work a flexible schedule including overtime.
• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Health and Safety or related field or military experience.
• Strong time and project management skills; ability to multitask and prioritize workloads.
• Experience in warehousing/distribution environment; knowledge of state and federal safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Provide elevated support to the safety team, ensuring safety compliance at the highest level.
• Maintain, coordinate and communicate EH&S processes and procedures.
• Review and ensure compliance with company policies and state/federal regulations.
• Conduct on-site or virtual audits of facility requirements related to EH&S/security programs.
• Develop and communicate EH&S programs and action plans.
• Lead safety and security meetings, training and continuing education.
