Job summary

XKIG is seeking a Safety Specialist for South/South Central Georgia to evaluate and enforce safety protocols on job sites, ensuring compliance with OSHA, ANSI, VOSH, and other standards.

The role includes organizing safety training, conducting weekly site audits, researching safer materials handling, analyzing injuries, and preparing vendor safety trainings. Travel is required; ISA CTSP certifications are preferred; 6+ years’ experience in the tree industry is expected.

• ISA Certification, CTSP Certification preferred.

Description

The Safety Specialist evaluates and enforces safety protocols followed on various job sites. The employee will ensure compliance with all regulatory bodies and standards (including OSHA, ANSI, VOSH, etc.). Candidates with ISA, CTSP, and Pesticide License Cat 6 are preferred.
