Responsibilities

The Safety Specialist in Kansas City, MO supports project needs by ensuring best practices, safety compliance, and fostering a safety culture.

• Oversee all aspects of commercial construction projects, ensuring OSHA compliance
• Conduct daily safety meetings
• Complete accident reports and investigations
• Ensure personnel wear PPE
• Perform safety audits and inspections daily
• Inspect power tools and heavy equipment

Qualifications

• Minimum 5+ years of construction safety experience
• OSHA 30-hour (1926) certification in Construction
• First Aid/CPR certified
• Strong knowledge of construction safety standards
• Experience in Fall Protection, Scaffolding, Steel Erection, and Excavation
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills
