Safety Specialist - Industrial Construction - Phoenix, AZ

Join BMWC Constructors as a Safety Specialist II in the industrial construction sector in Phoenix, AZ. We are a stable, growing company that offers competitive bonuses and benefits. This role involves contributing to large-scale industrial projects and working closely with project teams and leadership.

Responsibilities
  1. Assist project managers, engineers, and field supervision with safety tasks.
  2. Conduct safety training and field safety audits.
  3. Ensure compliance with safety policies and procedures.
  4. Train management and workers on safety responsibilities and accident prevention.
  5. Participate in incident investigations and hazard identification.
  6. Work with contractors and clients on safety concerns.
  7. Prepare and lead weekly safety toolbox talks.
  8. Travel and work across various construction sites in the US may be required.
Qualifications
  1. Bachelor’s degree in Safety or equivalent construction safety experience.
  2. Preferred certifications: OSHA 510, OSHA 10, NCCR.
  3. Minimum of 3 years safety experience in construction, industrial, or manufacturing environments.
