Kiewit is seeking a Safety Specialist I to support the Site Specific Safety Plan and reinforce our safety commitments on project sites. You will report to the Project Safety Manager and help apply contract and regulatory safety standards in the field.
Daily duties include collaborating with craft and operations, conducting hazard inspections, supporting incident investigations, and maintaining OSHA/MSHA compliance. Travel and relocation to project sites will be required as needed.

As a Safety Specialist, you will report to Project Safety Manager. Your primary responsibilities centers on the successful implementation and support of the Site Specific Safety Plan in the field. You will assist the Project Safety Manager with the application of the contract, client safety expectations, Kiewit's Corporate Safety Manual, Corporate Crane Procedures Manual, District Standards, and all laws governing the work. You will also verify to ensure that work is being executed as planned, problem-solve with operations and craft, assist with corrective measures, and provide resources to correct and maintain solutions.

Base Compensation: $90,000/yr - $94,000/yr
(Actual compensation is subject to variation due to such factors as education, experience, skillset, and/or location)
