Sargent Corporation is hiring a Safety Specialist to support field projects in Maine and New Hampshire. You will conduct inspections, prepare toolbox talks, and help refine safety policies to ensure compliance and safe operations.

The role involves travel, safety trainings, incident investigations, and active participation in regional safety committees, contributing to a culture of safety and ownership among employee-owners.

Qualifications

• Minimum High School Diploma or GED. Four-year Safety and Occupational Health degree preferred; or equivalent combinations of technical training and/or related experience.

Responsabilités

• Conduct and document inspections including observations.
• Create toolbox talks related to Sargent.
• Review and update Sargent’s policies and procedures.
• Assist with creating, planning, and conducting Sargent safety trainings.
• Assist with new hire safety orientation.
• Participate in incident investigation including root cause analysis.
• Participate in and/or chair regional safety committees.
