Job summary

Heritage Behavioral Health Center in Decatur, IL is seeking a dedicated Safety Specialist for a 3rd shift to maintain a secure environment for staff, clients, and visitors. The role acts as the first responder to internal emergencies and collaborates with emergency personnel to uphold safety standards.

Responsibilities

• Enforce designated smoking areas on building exteriors
• Assist emergency personnel as needed
• Respond promptly to internal emergency codes
• Continuously monitor all floors for safety or security concerns
• Communicate and collaborate effectively with fellow safety team members and Heritage staff
