Job summary

Conagra Brands, Inc. is seeking an Environment, Health and Safety (EHS) professional to support plant-wide programs aimed at minimizing environmental impact and enhancing a safe work environment.

Responsibilities include reporting on EHS metrics, implementing corporate initiatives, and contributing to zero-injury goals. The role involves assisting with safety concepts, accident investigations, health monitoring, and emergency plan development.

Qualifications

• 2-3 years of related experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or related discipline preferred.

Responsibilities

Reporting to the Environment, Health and Safety Manager, you will assist with managing plant environment, health and safety programs to help minimize environmental impact and promote a safe, accident-free work environment. Assist with implementing corporate initiatives, including metric tracking and training systems. Implement key safety concepts that support the roadmap to zero injuries and world-class performance. Participate in accident investigations and prepare accident reports. Assist with monitoring activities related to employee health and safety. Assist with the development and maintenance of emergency action plans. Perform other duties as assigned.

Ingredients Required for Your Success

• High School Diploma or equivalent required
• Bachelor’s degree in Risk Management or a related discipline Preferred
• 2-3 years of related experience
• Awareness of food safety, quality and food manufacturing processes preferred
• Familiarity with Continuous Improvement tools and fundamentals
• Excellent Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Outlook skills
• Experience interpreting technical information in mathematical and/or narrative form and working with abstract and concrete variables

Physical Requirements

Compensation

Pay Range:$59,000-$79,000 The annual salary listed above is the expected offering for this position. An employee’s actual annual salary will be based on but not limited to: location, relevant experience/level and skillset, while balancing internal Conagra employees’ equity. Conagra Brands will comply with applicable law regarding minimum salaries for exempt employees.
