Job summary

Cleary Construction is seeking an Onsite Safety Specialist to support our growing operations in Clarksville and Nashville, Tennessee. The role involves promoting a culture of safety and ensuring OSHA compliance on active job sites.

You will travel to sites, conduct inspections, lead toolbox talks, and provide safety training, coaching, and incident investigations. This is a hands-on field position with potential for a full-time permanent role.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction safety or occupational safety.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA standards and construction safety practices.
• OSHA 30 certification preferred (or willingness to obtain).
• Excellent communication and leadership skills.
• Ability to work independently and professionally in the field.
• Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications; experience with safety management software is a plus.

Responsibilities

Cleary Construction is seeking a motivated and experienced Onsite Safety Specialist to support our

growing operations throughout Clarksville and Nashville, Tennessee.

Position Summary

The Onsite Safety Specialist will work directly with project management and field personnel to promote a culture of safety while ensuring compliance with OSHA regulations and company safety policies. This individual will regularly travel to active job sites, conduct inspections, identify hazards, and provide safety training and coaching to employees.

Preferred Experience

• Heavy Civil, Utility, or Natural Gas construction experience.
• First Aid/CPR certification.
• CHST, STSC, ASP, CSP, or similar safety credential is a plus.
