Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, Georgia is seeking a dedicated CNA/Patient Care Technician for night shift, full-time hours. You will deliver safe, compassionate patient care, document care activities, and support acute care needs alongside the RN and healthcare team.

Qualified candidates hold a high school diploma or equivalent and must have current BLS along with CNA/CPCT/A/EMT certification. This role emphasizes infection prevention, safety, and continuous professional growth within a faith-based

Responsibilities

• Delivers safe, compassionate, and age-appropriate patient care while performing treatments according to policy, responding effectively to clinical emergencies, and assisting the RN in assessing and identifying patient needs.
• Supports quality and safety by adhering to infection prevention protocols, isolation guidelines, PPE requirements, hand hygiene standards, and departmental safety regulations while maintaining a clean, safe environment.
• Collaborates as an effective member of the healthcare team by communicating clearly with patients, families, and interdisciplinary staff to ensure coordinated, high-quality care.
• Accurately documents patient care, procedures, observations, and reports changes or abnormalities to the registered nurse in accordance with department policies.
• Demonstrates a commitment to professional growth by participating in performance improvement initiatives, embracing practice changes, continuously developing clinical skills, and performing other assigned duties.
