Job summary

AdventHealth in Rome, GA is seeking a compassionate Certified Nursing Assistant/Patient Care Technician to join our Night shift team. You will provide patient care, support in emergencies, and participate in performance improvement initiatives, following safety and isolation guidelines while continually upgrading skills.

Requirements include a High School diploma or equivalent and current BLS, CNA, CPCT/A, EMT certifications. Previous bedside acute care experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Grad or Equiv required.
• 1+ applicable PCT experience preferred.
• Previous bedside patient care in acute care preferred.
• BLS, CNA, CPCT/A, EMT certifications required.

Responsibilities

• Performs treatments according to policy and procedure and provides patient care appropriate to age, mobility, acuity, and culture.
• Functions appropriately in clinical emergencies.
• Participates in performance improvement activities and supports quality standards.
• Follows isolation guidelines, uses protective equipment, sanitizes hands, and enforces safety regulations.
• Exhibits desire to learn and upgrades skills continuously.

Job Description:

Schedule - Nights, with every other weekend. No Call Requirement

Work Experience:

• 1+ applicable PCT experience [Preferred]
• Previous bedside patient care in an acute care unit, unit secretary, monitor technician, or equivalent medical experience [Preferred]

Licenses and Certifications:

• Basic Life Support - CPR Cert (BLS) [Required]
• Certified Nurse Assistant (CNA) [Required]
• Certified Patient Care Technician/Assistant (CPCT/A)[Required]

Pay Range:
