Job summary

Rutland Regional Medical Center is seeking a Safety Officer for the West Ridge Center. This per diem, day shift role (0545–1015) supports a safe, secure environment for patients, visitors and staff by enforcing policies and performing safety checks across the facility.

The position requires a high school diploma, prior security or door screener experience, customer-facing skills, and completion of de-escalation training and BLS within specified timelines.

Responsibilities

• Provide a safe and secure environment for patients, visitors, and staff at West Ridge Center.
• Enforce current policies, procedures, and access control measures for the facility.
• Perform safety and security checks around and within the facility.
• Respond appropriately to incidents, issues, and safety concerns.
