Job summary

Dollar Tree in Arizona is seeking a Safety, Sanitation, and Compliance Manager for our Distribution Center. You will lead safety programs, sanitation efforts, and regulatory compliance to protect workers and product quality.

You will manage multiple shifts, coordinate with vendors, and educate teams on OSHA, EPA, FDA standards, while maintaining SOPs and driving continuous improvement in safety performance.

Qualifications

• 5–7 years of prior safety and health management experience
• Bachelor’s degree in a related field
• Experience in industrial operations with a strong track record of safety results
• General knowledge of OSHA, EPA, FDA, and warehouse sanitation requirements
• OSHA 30 Certification, Preventive Control Qualified Individual, RCRA Hazardous Waste Generator Training, HAZWOPER Chemical Fundamentals
• Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills
• Experience with Lawson or other HCM systems

Responsibilities

• Oversee sanitation, deep cleaning, and training for a team of 15 associates across multiple shifts
• Manage the department payroll budget and resources to ensure adherence to sanitation schedules
• Coordinate with vendors for sanitation and pest control services, monitoring activities and responding as needed
• Partner with operations to implement programs for safe disposal of hazardous materials and environmental compliance initiatives
• Maintain up-to-date SOP documentation and educate operations teams on safety and compliance requirements
• Ensure completion, implementation, and maintenance of safety and health programs (e.g., Lockout/Tagout, Hazard Communication)
• Serve as the IIPP administrator and ensure all regulatory requirements are met
