What to Expect (Job Responsibilities)
- Provide onsite and virtual safety and risk management consultation services to clients
- Develop tailored safety and risk prevention programs based on client assessments
- Conduct loss control surveys and evaluate the effectiveness of clients\' hazard controls
- Create action plans and recommendations for improving workplace safety
- Communicate effectively with client stakeholders to foster collaboration and support
What is Required (Qualifications)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of 5 years of safety experience and at least 3 years as a loss control consultant or equivalent
- Possession of a recognized safety designation (e.g., COSS, CSP, ARM)
- Proficiency in MS Office (Word, PowerPoint, Excel) and the use of the Internet for research
- Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a reliable vehicle for travel
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
- Active membership in the American Society of Safety Professionals or a similar organization
- Demonstrated proficiency in data analytics and artificial intelligence for risk prediction and mitigation
- Experience conducting high-level presentations and training on workplace safety topics
- Ability to perform root cause analysis for risk mitigation effectively
