Job summary

SeaWorld Parks & Entertainment in Orlando seeks an ambitious Safety Ambassador to conduct employee and guest accident investigations at SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove. You will help keep the safety program running by updating the accident database and meeting investigation timelines.

The role requires a High School diploma, proficiency with MS Office, and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment, with flexible shifts, and to interact with guests and team members respectfully.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Must be proficient in Microsoft Office applications (i.e., Excel, Word, and Power Point).
• Certified or able to become certified in Safety department training programs (i.e., Intelex).
• Strong analytical aptitude, strong communication and organization skills, and ability to handle multiple tasks in a team environment.
• Able to multitask, make quick decisions, troubleshoot problems, and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills; ability to present to large groups.
• Manage confidential and sensitive information.
• Physically able to walk extensive distances, climb/ascend heights, bend, and lift objects up to 25lbs.
• Interact positively with guests and co-workers of diverse backgrounds.
• Flexible to work varying shifts including nights, weekends, holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct employee and guest accident investigations at SeaWorld, Aquatica and Discovery Cove.
• Ensure the investigation database is updated and investigations meet timelines.
• Attend safety meetings as required.
• Assist in developing projects for the EHS / Risk Specialist Team.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
