Job summary

SeaWorld is seeking enthusiastic, dedicated individuals to become Ambassadors who help care for animals and create lasting memories for guests. Join us and play a key role on our team.

You will conduct regulatory environmental and safety inspections, assist with incidents, fire drills, and special projects, while maintaining safe work practices and effective communication with staff and guests.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Environmental, Health and/or Safety related experience is a plus.
• Knowledge of fire safety equipment is a plus.
• Must practice safe work habits and use PPE.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Certified or able to become certified in Safety department training programs.
• Strong communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to handle confidential information.
• Ability to work multiple tasks in a team environment.
• Physically able to walk, climb stairs, bend, and lift up to 50lbs.
• Able to stand/walk for prolonged periods in extreme weather.
• Flexible schedule including shifts, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Conduct regulatory environmental and safety inspections (weekly, monthly, quarterly).
• Assist with collecting universal waste.
• Respond to environmental incidents and safety emergencies.
• Assist with fire drills and safety drills to ensure compliance with guidelines.
• Assist with EHS Special Projects and other duties as assigned.
