Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Site Safety Representative in Toledo, OH for a 4-week 1099 contract. You will provide full-time onsite safety leadership for masonry work, supervising a crew of 8–10 installers and coordinating closely with contractor and general contractor personnel.

Role focuses on promoting safe work practices, ensuring OSHA compliance, and developing AHAs/JHAs while maintaining critical safety documentation and facilitating daily toolbox talks and safety meetings.

Qualifications

• BCSP Certification (minimum CHST)
• Minimum 3 years of construction safety experience
• Current First Aid / CPR certification
• Experience developing AHAs
• Experience developing JHAs
• Experience conducting toolbox talks and safety meetings
• Strong communication and field leadership skills
• Ability to serve as a liaison between contractor and general contractor

Responsibilities

• Provide full-time onsite safety oversight for masonry construction activities
• Support a crew of 8-10 installers
• Develop and review Activity Hazard Analyses (AHAs)
• Develop and review Job Hazard Analyses (JHAs)
• Conduct toolbox talks and daily safety discussions
• Perform site inspections, audits, and safety observations
• Identify hazards and implement corrective actions
• Serve as the primary safety liaison between contractor and general contractor
• Ensure compliance with OSHA standards and project safety requirements
• Maintain required safety documentation and project records
• Support incident response and investigations as needed

Location: Toledo, OH
Duration: 4 Weeks (Start: ASAP)
Type: 1099 Contractor

Compensation & Schedule

Pay Rate: $56/hr
Per Diem: $125/day (7 Days Per Week)
Pay Frequency: Weekly
Schedule: Monday-Friday | 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM
Hours: 40 Hours Per Week
