Job summary

Elevate Jet is seeking a Safety & Regulatory Compliance Manager to run the daily operations of our SMS, ERP, TSA security program, and FAA Drug & Alcohol program. This hands-on role focuses on program execution, not leadership, with responsibility for flight crew records under FAR 135.63 and ensuring compliance across parts 91/135.

Ideal candidates bring 5+ years in Part 135 aviation with safety, security, or compliance exposure, a degree in aviation management, and SMS certification.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of FAA Parts 91/135, TSA, SMS, and FAA/DOT Drug & Alcohol regulations.
• 5+ years in Part 135 aviation with safety, security, or compliance exposure.
• Bachelor’s degree in aviation management or equivalent experience.
• SMS Course certification, or willingness to obtain one.
• High attention to detail, sound judgment, and comfort working independently.

Responsibilities

• Administer the SMS, FOQA and ASAP Programs: hazard reporting, safety risk assessments, and the required manuals under FAR Part 135.
• Serve as a conduit between staff and management on safety issues.
• Support internal safety investigations and Emergency Response Plan readiness, including mock drills.
• Keep the Safety Committee scheduled and documented.
• Maintain and update the TFSSP and PCSSP for Part 135 Operators by TSA.
• Manage the Master Crew List and Master Personnel List, resolving TSA/DHS vetting issues.
• Host annual TSA audits and liaise with the Principal Security Specialist.
• Serve as DER for the Drug & Alcohol program: scheduling DOT testing, notifying managers of results, and hosting FAA audits.
• Own pilot records under FAR 135.63, including the monthly Crew Due List.
• Coordinate simulator training and travel logistics
• Maintain ARGUS, Charter X/Wyvern, and PRD entries per FAR 111
• Track monthly flight and duty reports; support crew background screening

We’re looking for a detail-driven, self-directed compliance professional to run the daily operations of our Safety Management System (SMS), Emergency Response Plane (ERP), TSA security program, and FAA Drug & Alcohol program, while keeping flight crew records airtight under FAR 135.63 and FAR 111. This is a hands‑on, individual‑contributor role focused on program execution, not executive safety leadership.

What You’ll Do

Safety
