Hutch Paving is seeking a proactive Safety Manager to oversee safety initiatives across construction sites in Warren, Michigan. This role includes leading safety training, conducting inspections, and ensuring compliance with OSHA/MIOSHA regulations.

Qualifications

• Experience in construction safety preferred.
• Ability to travel to local jobsites as needed.
• OSHA certifications preferred (OSHA 30+).

Responsibilities

• Investigate jobsite incidents and determine root causes.
• Conduct random jobsite safety inspections and correct hazards.
• Lead safety training, new hire orientation, and weekly toolbox talks.
• Track safety metrics, incidents, and training records.
• Manage PPE inventory and safety equipment inspections.
