Precision Build Solutions LLC is seeking a Field Safety Officer to maintain a visible safety presence on storage tank projects. You will perform daily inspections, lead toolbox talks, review JSAs/JHAs, monitor high-risk activities, and ensure corrective actions are documented and closed.
The role requires extensive field work, strong OSHA knowledge, and the ability to stop work for safety concerns, with travel to multiple project sites as needed.
The Field Safety Officer will maintain a visible and proactive safety presence at assigned storage tank projects. Responsibilities include conducting daily jobsite inspections and safety observations; leading toolbox talks and safety meetings; reviewing JSA/JHAs; monitoring high-risk work activities; identifying and correcting unsafe conditions and behaviors; maintaining required safety records; preparing electronic reports and spreadsheets; investigating incidents and near misses; assisting with employee safety training; and ensuring corrective actions are properly documented and completed.
Teamwork is essential in this position, and the Field Safety Officer must have a positive attitude and be able to work effectively with all departments, managers, and staff.
Actively participate in Safety meetings and promote company safety culture while working closely with the safety department.
