Base pay range

$17.25/hr - $18.50/hr

A Safety Officer is needed for the Evening/Overnight shift at Lantern Crest Senior Living in Santee, California. As a Safety Officer, you will be responsible for monitoring checks and conducting scheduled internal and external rounds. Your main duty will be responding immediately to all emergencies in the community, ensuring the safety and well-being of residents and visitors.

Responsibilities:
  • Respond immediately to all emergencies and follow proper First Responder protocols and safety policies and procedures.
  • Provide exemplary customer service to residents and visitors, demonstrating acts and principles of outstanding customer care.
  • Document and report resident emergencies promptly and professionally.
  • Perform simple repairs on systems, equipment, and buildings.
  • Conduct light housekeeping tasks, including trash collection and removal.
Requirements:
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • High school education or equivalent.
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions in English and communicate effectively.
  • Flexibility with schedule, including the ability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays.
  • Ability to make independent decisions and work without supervision.
  • Proficiency in using iPads and radios.
  • Exceptional oral and written communication skills, with the ability to interact tactfully and make decisions in stressful situations.
  • Good physical health is verified by a health screening, including a tuberculosis screening and criminal record clearance.
