Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required and knowledge of safety and occupational health laws and procedures.
• Experience with hazard recognition and control methods and metrics.
• Ability to pass a federal background investigation including fingerprinting.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to obtain company liability insurance with clean driving record.
• Strong communication, client focus, and proficiency in English.
• Authorized to work in the United States full-time; no visa sponsorship.

Responsibilities

• Applying knowledge involving the management, administration, or operation of a safety and occupational health program.
• Performing administrative work concerned with safety and occupational health activities.
• Supporting the implementation and evaluation of safety and occupational health related program functions.
• Advising policy using knowledge of explosives, safety laws, regulations, rules, and procedures.
• Assessing safety programs for compliance with applicable laws and guidance.
• Advising operations and logistics for hazard reduction improvements.
• Assisting in planning, developing, and coordinating presentation materials for meetings.
• Assisting with meetings and conferences hosted by client.
• Supporting Government teams to maintain policy, procedure and technical standards.
