Qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Advising on the Safety and Occupational Health Program for Portland District.
  • Assisting project personnel with implementation of site-specific Safety and Occupational Health plans and programs.
  • Advising on safety requirements related to electrical power house, hydroelectric design, and dam safety.
  • Providing technical assistance on handling and disposal of hazardous waste and chemicals.
  • Auditing worksite safety programs, evaluating effectiveness, identifying gaps, reporting findings to leadership.
  • Developing and conducting supervisor/employee SOH training.
  • Coordinating Safety and Occupational Health training.
  • Developing safety regulations, guidance, policies, and SOPs.
  • Conducting worksite inspections, identifying hazards, developing controls, and assisting with implementation.
  • Reviewing accident prevention plans, design reviews, and safety submittals.
