Safework in San Diego, CA is seeking a highly motivated Construction Safety Professional to join the Safety Team. You will oversee contractor safety programs and lead safety audits on major projects. The role requires 5+ years in safety management, CHST or equivalent, OSHA 30, and familiarity with large transportation construction.

• Minimum of five (5) years of experience in Safety Management.
• CHST or equivalent certification; ASP, CSP or degree in safety desired (or be able to obtain within 6 months).
• Experience on large transportation projects including design-build programs.
• Experience on Structural Systems, Hydraulic Processes, Rail (Heavy/Light), Bridges, Roads, Utility Relocation, and similar construction.
• OSHA 30 Hour certification.
• OSHA 500 Trainer Certification preferred.
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
• Strong computer skills, including use of Information Management Systems.
