Job summary

Sheakley Workforce Staffing is seeking a Construction Safety Manager in Haskell, TX for a 1099 contractor role with a large-scale data center project. You will oversee safety for structural steel erection, crane and rigging operations, and elevated work, partnering closely with ironworkers and project leadership to maintain safe and compliant work.

The ideal candidate will have OSHA 30 Construction Certification, BCSP credentials, and current First Aid/CPR/AED certification, with demonstrated

Qualifications

• OSHA 30 Construction Certification required.
• BCSP credential (CHST/ASP/CSP/STSC) preferred.
• Current First Aid/CPR/AED certification required.
• Structural steel safety oversight experience.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily safety activities for structural steel erection operations.
• Maintain a visible field presence with ironworkers and supervision.
• Conduct site inspections, audits, and risk assessments.
• Monitor crane, rigging, framing, and bolting activities.
• Support crane operations, rigging, hoisting, and material placement.
• Ensure OSHA Subpart R compliance and conduct JHAs.
• Lead incident investigations and corrective actions.
• Maintain safety documentation and compliance records.
