Job summary

Ferrovial Construction-Webber 99 is seeking a Safety Manager to assist the Director of Safety in promoting safety policies and the Safety Plan for Construction. The role requires leadership in safety programs and ensuring a safe environment for workers and the public.

The successful candidate will conduct orientations, driver safety training, inspections, and injury investigations, supporting a strong safety culture across large infrastructure projects.

Qualifications

• Minimum of five (5) years of progressive responsibility in safety roles.
• Safety certifications such as OSHA construction standards and related courses.
• Experience on large highway, bridge/structure, paving or utility relocation projects as a contractor.

Responsibilities

• Provide program administration to ensure safe, healthy, and secure worksites.
• Perform safety orientations for employees and subcontractors.
• Conduct safe driver training and promote safe driving practices.
• Maintain zero tolerance for violence, threats, harassment, and intimidation.
• Conduct periodic safety inspections and document results.
• Investigate and document all occupational injuries.
