Responsibilities

• Safety Program Management: implement and improve project safety programs and provide planning and technical support.
• Work Planning & Control: review work packages, ensure hazard controls are in place, coordinate readiness.
• Regulatory Compliance: support compliance with DOE, LBNL, and ALS-U requirements.
• Readiness & Incident Prevention: support readiness reviews, hazard verification, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
• Safety Documentation: develop and maintain safety plans, hazard analyses, and reports.
