Sheakley Workforce Staffing seeks a Safety Manager for a large-scale Edgerton, KS construction project. You will oversee day-to-day safety operations, conduct site walks, supervise OSHA 10/30 trainings, and drive corrective actions with project leadership.

The role requires CHST certification, field presence, and ability to manage safety across HVAC, plumbing and facility renovation crews up to 60 people. Weekly pay and a rigorous safety program are expected.

Compensation

• Rate: $50 - $54/hr
• Per Diem: None Available
• Pay Frequency: Weekly

Schedule

• Hours: 50-60 hours/week
• Schedule: Monday-Friday, with some Saturdays dependent on site needs
• Shift: 0700-1730

Project Scope

The Safety Manager will oversee day-to-day safety operations on a large-scale construction project in Edgerton, KS. The project involves HVAC installation, plumbing, piping, and facility renovation, with field crews of up to 60 personnel.

This position will maintain a strong field presence, conducting site walks, inspections, and compliance audits while working directly with project leadership, employees, and subcontractors. The Safety Manager will identify hazards, drive corrective actions, deliver safety training, and help ensure work is performed in accordance with project requirements and applicable OSHA standards.

The role will also support incident investigations, injury and illness case management, equipment inspections, and ongoing safety meetings throughout the project.
