Job summary

JBS USA is seeking a Safety Manager to ensure regulatory compliance and oversee safety programs at our beef processing facility. You will investigate accidents, coordinate training, and review safety plans to ensure all equipment and processes meet safety requirements.

The role requires 5–10 years in a similar role within a manufacturing environment, preferably beef, with the ability to work at least 50 hours per week. Leadership of the Safety and Health Department will be a key responsibility.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 5–10 years of experience in a similar role.
• Be able to work at least 50 hours per week.
• Experience in manufacturing environment, beef industry desired.

Responsibilities

Education/Experience:

• Bachelor’s Degree (Preferred)
• Experience in manufacturing environment, specifically the beef industry desired.

The applicant who fills this position will be eligible for the following compensation and benefits:

• Benefits: Vision, Medical, and Dental coverage begin after 60 days of employment;
• Paid Time off: sick leave, vacation and 6 company observed holidays;
• 401(k): eligible after the 1st day of employment including company match which begins after the first year of service and follows the company vesting schedule
• Base salary range of $107,213 – $135,009/yr
• This position is eligible to participate in the Company’s annual bonus plan; the amount of bonus varies and is subject to the standard terms and conditions of the incentive program;
