Job summary

GCON Management Company LLC is seeking a Safety Manager to lead safety culture and risk management across multiple sites in the Rio Rancho area. The right candidate will drive regulatory compliance, oversee incident investigations, and deliver targeted safety training for frontline crews and leadership teams.

You will manage safety programs in a fast-paced construction environment, with a focus on collaboration, continuous improvement, and measurable results across all projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in EH&S or related field (or equivalent experience).
• 10+ years in safety or field operations management; 5+ years in leadership.
• CSP, ASP, or CHST certification preferred.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA and construction safety regulations.
• OSHA 10/30, Dust Control 310, First aid; OSHA 500 preferred.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to travel to job sites.
• Ability to learn and train with technology platforms and software.

Physical Requirements:

• Must be able to traverse and inspect all areas of jobsite in all types of weather; this may include walking, climbing, reaching, bending, crawling or stretching.
• Standing/Walking/Sitting: Workday is combination of standing, walking, and sitting.
• Legs: Must be able to climb stairs.
• Hands/Arms: Constant use of hands/fingers for mouse/keyboard/computer use
• Vision: Visual acuity in near, mid, and far range. Color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, hand/eye coordination.
• Hearing: Sufficient to hear conversational levels in person and over the telephone and radio; sufficient to hear alarms on equipment.
• Speech: Sufficient to make oneself heard in person, speak in front of groups, and be understood over the telephone and radio.
• Lift/Carry: Up to 40lbs.
• Kneeling/Crouching/Crawling: Minimal.
• Exposure to characteristic construction site dangers.
