Job summary

Jobot is seeking a Safety Manager for major water, wastewater, and underground utility projects in the Southwest. Based in Phoenix, you will partner with operations and project teams to foster a strong safety culture on active construction sites, lead investigations, and deliver training to employees.

The ideal candidate has 3+ years in construction safety, heavy civil experience, OSHA 500/510 certification, and excellent communication skills.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of construction safety experience
• Heavy civil, water/wastewater, utilities, underground, or infrastructure experience preferred
• OSHA 500/510 certification
• Strong communication and relationship-building skills
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
• Experience with ISNetworld is preferred

Responsibilities

• Promote a strong safety culture across active construction projects with operations and project teams
• Conduct site audits, inspections, and hazard assessments
• Lead incident investigations and root cause analysis
• Deliver safety training, orientations, and ongoing employee development
• Assist with implementation and continuous improvement of safety programs and procedures

What You’ll Do
