Job summary

InnoSource seeks a Health & Safety Coordinator to drive the site Health & Safety Systems and Programs in Lawton, OK. You will promote a proactive safety culture, lead inspections and investigations, and support training and corporate/plant initiatives.

You’ll ensure OSHA compliance, coordinate with operations, and help implement preventive safety measures, risk reduction, and data-driven improvements across the site.

Qualifications

• 2 years of safety experience, preferably in manufacturing.

Responsibilities

• Ensure all associates meet plant safety requirements, including PPE usage.
• Submit monthly safety reports to the Management Team.
• Conduct routine safety audits for PPE, LOTO, housekeeping, and related areas.
• Collaborate with management to update, maintain, and improve safety procedures.
• Perform investigations and risk assessments as required.
• Collect, implement, and analyze data to identify trends and focus areas.
• Deliver safety training, meetings, and new-hire orientation.
• Align communication between InnoSource and the customer regarding safety matters.

Job description

The Health& Safety Coordinator supports the implementation, administration and continuous improvement of the site’s Health & Safety Systems & Programs. Thisrole works closely with operations, to ensure compliance with applicable regulatory requirements while promoting a proactive safety culture through employee engagement, risk reduction, and continuous improvement. This role serves as a visible safety leader by conducting routine inspections&investigations, coordinatingsafety training, and assisting with corporate and plant Health & Safety initiatives.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure all associates meet plant safety requirements, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE).
• Submit monthly safety reports to the Management Team.
• Conduct routine safety audits for PPE, LOTO, housekeeping, and related areas.
• Collaborate with the management team to update, maintain, and improve safety procedures.
• Perform investigations and risk assessments as required.
• Collect, implement, and analyze data, working with the team to identify trends and focus on key safety areas.
• Partner with the management team to deliver safety training, meetings, and new-hire orientation.
• Align communication between InnoSource and the customer regarding safety matters.
• Possess knowledge in the following areas: confined spaces, hazardous communications, LOTO, electrical safety, industrial power vehicles, emergency response, emergency evacuation planning, hot work, heat stress, and stop-work authority.

• Hourly Rate: $30-35 per hour, full-time, paid weekly
