Job summary

Sure Steel, Inc. is seeking a Safety Manager I to lead safety efforts across our steel fabrication and construction projects in Texas. The role focuses on developing comprehensive safety programs, conducting training, and driving compliance to protect employees and the public.

You will conduct inspections, investigate incidents, and promote a safety-first culture through clear communication and ongoing education. This position requires strong leadership and a passion for safety.

Responsibilities

• Develop, implement, and maintain comprehensive safety programs and policies for employees, subcontractors, and visitors.

• Perform regular inspections and audits of worksites, equipment, and facilities to identify hazards and ensure regulatory compliance.
• Investigate accidents, incidents, near misses, and other safety-related events to determine root causes and corrective actions.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations (OSHA/EPA) and industry standards.
• Promote a safety-first culture through communication channels and safety initiatives.
