Job summary

Everstory Partners is seeking a Safety Manager to lead enterprise-wide safety strategy across cemetery and funeral home operations in the United States. You will drive compliance with OSHA and regulatory standards, oversee training, investigations, and the Health & Safety Manual, and partner with location teams to reduce incidents.

The role requires strong communication, travel up to 30%, and a focus on building a proactive safety culture with leadership support across the organization.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree or higher required with relevant safety certifications.
• 5+ years of experience in safety management within large, dispersed organizations.
• Proven ability to lead safety programs, investigations, and training.

Responsibilities

• Ensure company-wide compliance with OSHA and applicable regulations.
• Lead emergency response preparedness and severe weather readiness.
• Investigate accidents, injuries and near-misses; identify root causes and implement corrective actions.
• Develop and deliver safety training sessions, orientations, and toolbox talks.
• Maintain accurate incident, audit, and training records.
• Own the Health & Safety Manual and update policies as needed.
• Plan strategies and actions to meet safety goals and regulatory requirements.
• Monitor and report on safety programs and projects across locations.
• Provide guidance to locations on safety issues and corrective actions.
• Collaborate with Support Center leadership during program planning and execution.
• Communicate progress and challenges to stakeholders at all levels.
