As a Safety & Health Intern, you will work alongside experienced Environmental, Health & Safety (EHS) professionals and plant leadership teams to gain practical exposure to safety systems, regulatory compliance, risk assessment, employee engagement, and continuous improvement initiatives. You'll have the opportunity to contribute to real projects that enhance workplace safety while developing the skills needed for a successful career in EHS, manufacturing, or operations leadership.

What You'll Do

Depending on business needs and location, interns may gain experience in one or more of the following areas:

What You Need to Succeed:

• Currently pursuing a bachelor's or master's degree in:
• Occupational Safety & Health
• Environmental Health & Safety (EHS)
• Engineering (Industrial, Mechanical, Chemical, or related discipline)
• Safety Management or related scientific field
• Strong interest in manufacturing, industrial operations, and workplace safety
• Effective communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint

Physical and Work Environment Requirements:

To perform this role successfully, candidates must be willing and able to:

• Follow all safety policies, procedures, and personal protective equipment (PPE) requirements
• Work safely around manufacturing equipment, machinery, forklifts, and industrial processes
• Navigate manufacturing and warehouse environments, including stairs, ladders, and production areas
• Work in conditions that may include heat, cold, humidity, dust, noise, and varying temperatures
• Stand, walk, and move throughout the facility for extended periods as needed
