Job summary

FlatironDragados is seeking a Safety Intern to apply academic knowledge in a real-world setting, under supervision of the District Safety Manager or Project Safety Manager. You will learn about construction, scheduling, risk assessments, and implementing corrective measures.

You will assist with reporting, investigations, coordinating safety events, ordering supplies, and supporting project-based work to uphold company safety standards.

Qualifications

• Must be currently enrolled in Health & Safety or a similar program at an accredited technical college or university.

Responsibilities

• Report and track orientations, trainings, audits, incident reports, and related documents.
• Assist in reporting incidents, investigations, root cause analysis, and submitting reports.
• Coordinate safety events with safety managers and project teams.
• Order safety supplies as required.
• Support staff on project-based safety work and activities.
