Perdue Farms seeks a Safety Intern in Milford, Delaware to gain hands-on experience in safety practices, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement within a food production setting. The 10–12 week internship supports the Safety Team across plant operations and helps implement initiatives to protect people, products, and processes.

You will assist audits, investigations, and training, with mentorship from site leaders and exposure to senior leadership.

Qualificações

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in a related field (safety/industrial hygiene/environmental science).
• Minimum 3.0 GPA.
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office and ability to learn new software.

Responsabilidades

• Assist in conducting safety audits, inspections, and risk assessments.
• Support incident investigations and root cause analyses.
• Help develop and deliver safety training materials for associates.
• Participate in ergonomic assessments and hazard identification.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement corrective actions.
• Present findings and recommendations to site leadership at internship end.
