Job summary

Infinite Consulting Corp is seeking a Construction Safety Inspector for a part-time, on-call role across Bear Mountain, Fahnestock State Park, and Lake Sebago. You will conduct 8-hour safety audits, review activities for OSHA 1926 compliance, and prepare detailed, photo-supported reports.

The ideal candidate has at least 5 years of construction safety experience, holds the 62-Hour NYC SST Card, and can travel between sites.

• Prepare detailed, photo-supported audit reports with corrective action recommendations.
• Communicate findings with project managers, site supervisors, and safety personnel.
• Follow up on previously identified deficiencies as required.
• Promote safe work practices and support a positive safety culture across project teams.

Job description

Job Title: Construction Safety Inspector (Part-Time / On-Call)
Location: Bear Mountain, Fahnestock State Park, and Lake Sebago
Schedule: As Needed / On-Call (8-hour site inspections, Bi-weekly)
Position Summary: The Construction Safety Inspector will conduct safety inspections across three different locations. This is a flexible, part-time, on-call role for experienced safety professionals who can provide objective, high-quality field audits.
Key Responsibilities

• Conduct scheduled and on-call 8-hour safety audits (Bi-Weekly) on active NYC construction sites.

• Review ongoing work activities for compliance with OSHA 1926 standards.

• Identify hazardous conditions, unsafe work practices, and regulatory violations.

• Prepare detailed, photo-supported audit reports with corrective action recommendations.
