Job summary

Black & Veatch Corporation is seeking a mid-level Safety & Health professional for a staff role on a Glen Rose construction project. You will implement and maintain safety programs, conduct inspections, and lead incident investigations while coordinating with clients and government officials.

You will oversee safety training, supervise interns and specialists, and help drive continuous improvement in safety performance across power, water, grid, and industrial markets.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of safety and health experience.
• Bachelor's Degree preferred in safety/industrial hygiene or related field.
• High school diploma or equivalent preferred.

Responsibilities

• Implements and maintains the project Drug and Alcohol program; conducts safety training and inspections.
• Manages safety contracts, documents, investigations, and interfaces with clients/government officials.
• Supervises Safety staff and supports continuous improvement efforts.
