Job summary

Black & Veatch in Beech Island, SC seeks a Safety & Health Manager for Conventional Generation projects. This on-site, full-time role implements Loss Control Procedures on large projects, conducts site inspections, and interfaces with clients and authorities to uphold safety standards.

You will lead training, manage worker safety programs and investigations, supervise safety staff, and ensure OSHA compliance. A minimum of 5 years in construction safety is required.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in a construction environment.
• 5+ years safety and health experience.
• OSHA 500 and OSHA 10 hour certifications.
• First Aid, CPR, Drug testing certified.

Responsibilities

• Implements, administers and maintains drug and alcohol program. Develops and conducts safety training. Performs site safety inspections. Interfaces with clients and government officials. Manages contractor safety programs. Conducts incident investigations and writes detailed reports.
• Supervises Safety and Health staff and coordinates with project teams on safety matters.
