Job summary

Amazon is hiring a Workplace Health & Safety Specialist to lead safety programs across our facilities and support a culture of proactive risk management in Holyoke, MA. You will drive audits, investigations, and training to protect associates while maintaining operational efficiency.

The role emphasizes data-driven decision making, cross-team collaboration, and strong communication to influence safety behaviors and organizational change. Flexible shifts and on-site work are expected.

Qualifications

• High school or equivalent.
• 1 year in an Environmental Health & Safety field OR a Bachelor’s degree in an EHS-related background OR 6 months of safety-related work at Amazon.
• Knowledge of OSHA regulations, specifically 29 CFR 1910.
• Experience using Microsoft Word and Excel in a professional capacity.
• Experience maintaining confidentiality in workplace security and/or personnel matters.

Responsibilities

• Lead daily safety audits, incident investigations, and risk assessments with data-driven solutions.
• Deliver safety training to associates and promote a proactive safety culture.
• Serve as a trusted safety advisor and advocate for associate wellbeing across the organization.
• Translate safety data into compelling narratives to drive engagement and improvements.
