We’re currently seeking a passionate and enthusiastic Safety, Health, Environmental, and Risk (SHER) Coordinator to join our growing team.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

As the SHER Coordinator, you will collaborate with members of the organization to create a strong, sustainable culture of safety. You will be responsible to assist in the implementation of programs, policies, and risk assessments to ensure PVM USA is in compliance with all federal, state, and local Safety and Health, Environmental, and Security regulations. A vital function of the SHER Coordinator will be to analyze data to monitor performance and detect trends in areas related to SHER and develop action plans to correct any negative findings. Additional responsibilities include :

• Conduct routine Risk and Hazard Analysis, assist in incident investigations, and display strong Root Cause Analysis skills.
• Assist in administering the Environmental Management System along with the development and implementation of the Safety Management System according to the ISO 45001 standard.
• Oversee workers' compensation claims management to minimize employee recovery time.
• Assist in the oversight of physical security of the facility.
• Must be comfortable speaking to large groups of varying diversity in order to deliver PVM USA SHER training requirements.

WHAT WE NEED FROM YOU

• Minimum of 3 years of Safety, Environmental, Engineering or related experience in a manufacturing environment
• Strong understanding of federal, state, provincial and local regulations and requirements
• Willingness to work on any shift and additional hours as required
• Effective verbal and written communication skills
• Strong leadership, analytical and problem solving skills
• Exceptional organizational skills
• High energy with apositive and outgoing demeanor
• Proficient use of Microsoft Office Suite and / or other software
