Job summary

Arcosa Aggregates is seeking a Mobile Equipment Operator for our Franklinton, LA plant. You will safely operate heavy equipment used in mining, including bulldozers, excavators, and loaders, while supporting excavation, grading, and material handling.

Responsibilities include conducting pre-shift inspections, reporting safety concerns, loading trucks, and maintaining stockpiles. A high school diploma or GED is required, with strong safety focus and reliability.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to operate at least two pieces of mobile equipment.
• Good physical stamina and ability to perform manual tasks.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate multiple heavy mobile equipment pieces (e.g., bulldozers, excavators, loaders).
• Conduct pre-shift safety inspections and report issues to supervision.
• Load materials and assist with hauling between mine, stockpile, plant, and hopper.
• Maintain clear communication with supervisors and customers serviced.
• Follow safety rules and comply with regulations at all times.
