Qualifications

• Desired majors include Occupational Safety & Health, Safety Management, Public Health, Industrial Hygiene, Environmental Health & Safety, or related fields
• Concurrent enrollment in a Bachelor's degree (or higher) for the duration of the internship
• Strong academic performance
• Available to work on site 40 hours per week
• Must ascend/descend stairs and lift up to 50 pounds
• Valid driver's license for work-related travel
• Reliable transportation to/from work
• Authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship now or in the future
• Available for multiple work terms preferred
• MIN - $24.09 per hour / MAX - $35.96 per hour

Responsibilities

• Support Refining, Midstream Crude Oil & Products Logistics, Midstream Natural Gas & Natural Gas Liquids Services, and Occupational & Environmental Hygiene
• Assist professionals in health, safety, and security planning and compliance activities
• Participate in facility audits, training programs, incident investigations, and emergency preparedness
• Engage in governmental inspections and coordinate with Marathon business units; may submit written reports

Education

Bachelor's degree (or higher) in Occupational Safety & Health or related field
