Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Safety, Environmental Health, Engineering or related field is preferred.
• 5+ years of safety leadership experience in manufacturing or industrial environments.
• Professional certifications such as CSP, CIH, CRSP, CHP or similar are valued.
• Strong knowledge of OSHA regulations, environmental compliance, and risk management.

• Lead company-wide safety, health, and environmental initiatives across manufacturing operations.
• Ensure compliance with OSHA, EPA, and applicable state and federal regulations.
• Manage accident investigations, corrective actions, and workers' compensation programs.
• Develop and deliver safety training and new employee orientation.
• Analyze safety performance metrics and implement proactive improvement strategies.
• Lead safety audits, inspections, and safety committee activities.
• Oversee environmental compliance programs, reporting, and continuous improvement efforts.

This strategic leadership role partners closely with operations and executive leadership to foster a strong safety culture, ensure OSHA and environmental compliance, reduce workplace risk, and drive continuous improvement initiatives. The position also oversees product safety programs, workers' compensation management, safety training, incident investigations, and environmental reporting.
