Jobot is seeking a Plant Safety Leader for a midsize manufacturing company in Wisconsin. You will own EHS compliance, develop safety policies, deliver training, and drive corrective actions across sites. Expect travel about 30% to support other locations.

The ideal candidate holds a Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety or a related field and has experience implementing safety programs in manufacturing environments. This full-time role offers competitive pay and full health benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Occupational Safety, Industrial Engineering or related field.

Responsibilities

• Lead compliance with federal, state, and local safety regulations.
• Develop, maintain, and deliver safety policies, procedures, and training programs for plant personnel.
• Conduct regular safety inspections, audits, and hazard assessments, implementing corrective actions as needed.
• Manage lockout/tagout procedures, incident investigations, and near-miss reporting.
• Analyze workplace injury trends and collaborate with leadership to implement preventive measures.
• Serve as the primary liaison for Workers’ Compensation, partnering with carriers and managing claims efficiently.
• Support return-to-work programs and light-duty accommodations in collaboration with HR and site leadership.
• Oversee third-party safety vendors, audits, and specialized safety services, including contract management.
• Champion a culture of safety by integrating initiatives into daily operations and promoting employee engagement.
• Travel to other sites (~30%)
