Job summary

Lakeside Recruiting Solutions is seeking an experienced EHS Manager to support the Environmental, Health, and Safety program at its plant in Wauwatosa, Wisconsin. The role involves ensuring regulatory compliance, maintaining safety practices, and developing safety training procedures.

The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of supervisory experience in safety/environmental work and experience within a manufacturing setting. Strong problem-solving and leadership skills are essential for ensuring a safe and healthy work environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of successful supervisory and safety/environmental work experience.
• Experience within a manufacturing plant.
• Ability to effectively coach, lead, motivate, and develop people.
• Developed problem solving skills and computer skills.

Responsibilities

• Manage the safety function to ensure compliance with regulations.
• Maintain environmental compliance and complete reporting.
• Conduct safety inspections and environmental testing.
• Track findings and recommend corrective actions.
• Submit governmental reports and investigate accidents.
• Coordinate first aid and Workers' Compensation programs.
• Ensure personnel receive appropriate safety training.
• Oversee safety policies and procedures implementation.
