Job summary

A top construction and engineering firm is seeking a Safety Engineer I or II to implement safety programs across project sites. This role requires a strong background in safety regulations, effective communication skills, and a proactive approach. Candidates must have a bachelor's degree in occupational safety or related field, or equivalent certifications. Compensation ranges from $78,800 to $110,400 based on experience, and involves extensive travel throughout the U.S. to ensure safety at various sites.

Qualifications

  • Must have either a 2 or 4 yr degree in health or safety or meet specific certification requirements.
  • Previous related internship experience a plus is encouraged.
  • Must possess a current driver’s license.

Responsibilities

  • Implement and administer safety programs on-site and assist in developing safety activities.
  • Document and track safety violations, conduct safety audits, manage OSHA reporting.
  • Provide safety-related information and serve as a resource.
