Job summary

ZooTampa is looking for a full-time Safety Supervisor responsible for ensuring safety across all Zoo operations in Tampa, FL. This role will administer safety programs, conduct inspections, and provide training to team members and volunteers, creating a safer environment for the animals and visitors.

Candidates should have a degree in Occupational Health and Safety and at least 2–5 years of relevant experience, along with strong leadership and problem-solving skills. The position offers benefits like medical and retirement plans.

Qualifications

• 2–5 years of experience in occupational safety or related field.
• Experience with compliance and emergency preparedness programs.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Administer and improve safety programs and training initiatives.
