Job summary

Roosevelt School District 66 is seeking a Bus Driver to transport students to and from school and on field trips in a safe, efficient manner. The role requires adherence to traffic laws, ADOT rules, and district policies, plus daily bus inspections and maintenance logging.

The driver will manage student safety on routes, handle occasional field trips or events, and participate in required in-service meetings. A valid CDL and safety certifications are mandatory.

Qualifications

• Must be a minimum of 21 years old.
• Arizona School Bus Driver Certificate with passenger endorsement, Class B CDL Arizona Driver's License, Department of Transportation physical.
• Must have a good driving record and complete driver training.

Responsibilities

• Obey all traffic laws, ADOT rules, and Roosevelt policies; observe safety regulations for school buses.
• Transport authorized students on assigned routes, to/from school, field trips, or events.
• Inspect bus before operation; report mechanical issues and record discrepancies daily.
